"regular stuff" is quite vague and opinionated here, and the goal of this page is not entirely clear. Is this meant to be an intro for users of GNU/Linux? It's likely clearer to say so explicitly. WhyNotHugo (talk) 19:07, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

Agreed.
Similarly, consider a proposed change of section title, 'Bash shell': why have a 'bash' section here if there is currently no accompanying overview on this page about ash/busybox configuration, despite the pros in favour of busybox, including its memory and processing power efficiency and configurability to include only needed components, etc? Wouldn't it be more relevant to highlight/elaborate on the default busybox shell in this busybox environment? Would it be improper to amend the section title to, for example, 'Shell configuration', which would converge in style with the titles of succeeding sections on this page: 'Hardware management', 'Disk management', 'Network management'?
The passage's text could conceivably remain; instructions have now recently been included about the possibility to adapt .bashrc, with review, into .ashrc for ash aliases.
The 'What links here' section indicates no current internal link to this section by its current title, How_to_get_regular_stuff_working#Bash_shell.

WhyNotHugo, Name of the page as set by the original authors are mostly left unchanged, unless they are inappropriate. Do suggest more appropriate page name.
As suggested by John3-16, i'll proceed to rename the heading to shell management to be consistent with other headings. Prabuanand (talk) 03:44, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
