Talk:Upgrading Alpine Linux to a new release branch

I notice that the word used for semi-annual releases in existing documentation is release branch and not major release. Please confirm on the correct terminology to use for semi-annual releases. The current terminology is release branch. Hence the correct title should be one of the following 

"Upgrading Alpine Linux to a new release branch"  
"Upgrading to a new release branch" 
"Upgrading to a newer release branch"
