Kodi (formerly XBMC) is a software media centre available in the Alpine community repositories.
Kodi can run under Xorg, Wayland or any other graphical environment.
kodi-gbm
kodi-gbm runs without any Xorg or Wayland environment, managing hardware input/output itself. It support HDR, and is most suitable for dedicated devices or sessions.
In order for keyboard input to work, at least one of the following conditions must be met:
- libudev-zero is installed (simplest approach).
- eudev is running (untested).
