(OPH - One Per Home Router and HA and Cloud Gateway)
(No difference)

I am researching into the feasibility of combining the function of a normal home router with a gateway that control the home automation devices.

1) It has normal home router functions, dial up adsl modem, package forward and blocking, probably using iptables.

2) It has a home web page that run under a web server like apache / nginx or similar.

3) It can run a HA gateway program that communicate with the actual devices like light switch, air cond, alarm, music center etc.

4) It also act as home cloud server and gateway to external cloud.

I call it OPH (One Per Home) with believe that eventually every home would have a device like this, no different from to have a router but, a router with a lot more capability.

anyone interested in such project?
