Hi, first-time user here. While following this page's instructions I found that setup-udev command doesn't exist, and couldn't find anything about which package provides it. My guess is it's old and the page is just out of date. However, my own quest to get sway working took me through so much confusion that I'm not sure which steps were actually necessary for me, so I don't know for certain what to replace it with. I suspect what setup-udev did was start all of the udev services (udev, udev-postmount, udev-settle, and udev-trigger).

Setting up eudev

Hi, first-time user here. While following this page's instructions I found that setup-udev command doesn't exist, and couldn't find anything about which package provides it. My guess is it's old and the page is just out of date. However, my own quest to get sway working took me through so much confusion that I'm not sure which steps were actually necessary for me, so I don't know for certain what to replace it with. I suspect what setup-udev did was start all of the udev services (udev, udev-postmount, udev-settle, and udev-trigger).

Hello. The package eudev, which should be installed by the very first command in the page, provides /sbin/setup-udev. La9 (talk) 06:09, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
