I notice that the word used for bi-annual releases in existing documentation is release branch. Please confirm on the correct terminology to use for bi-annual releases. Alpine Linux may definitely release 4.x series, then the word major may not be appropriate for bi-annual release branches. Hence the correct title should be "Upgrading Alpine Linux to a new release branch" or "Upgrading to a new release branch" or "Upgrading to a newer release branch" Prabuanand (talk) 08:24, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
