make install is supposed to install the default acf.conf file at the proper place. --Ncopa 13:27, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

IIRC it does (as long as you use the make install).

But if you are referring to Setting_up_a_acf-dev_without_chroot then you have to manually create it because you never run any make install. -- mhavela Thu Jan 17 15:11:48 UTC 2008
