I notice that the word used for bi-annual releases in existing documentation is release branch. Please confirm on the correct terminology to use for bi-annual releases. Alpine Linux may definitely release 4.x series, then the word major may not be appropriate for bi-annual release branches. Hence the correct title should be "Upgrading Alpine Linux to a new release branch" or "Upgrading to a new release branch" or "Upgrading to a newer release branch"
I notice that the word used for semi-annual releases in existing documentation is '''release branch''' and not '''major release'''. Please confirm on the correct terminology to use for semi-annual releases. Hence the correct title should be one of the following
"Upgrading Alpine Linux to a new release branch"
"Upgrading to a new release branch"
"Upgrading to a newer release branch"

I notice that the word used for semi-annual releases in existing documentation is release branch and not major release. Please confirm on the correct terminology to use for semi-annual releases. Hence the correct title should be one of the following

"Upgrading Alpine Linux to a new release branch"
"Upgrading to a new release branch"
"Upgrading to a newer release branch"
