When Qt gets upgraded between major versions, we have to rebuild some packages due to ABI changes and private API usages. The following is a list of packages to bump on every major (e.g. 6.8.x to 6.9.x) upgrade:
- kwin (input in login managers)
- plasma-integration (for plasmashell)
- layer-shell-qt (for plasmashell)
- kguiaddons (for plasmashell)
- libkscreen (for display configuration)
- powerdevil (for power management KCM)
- pyside6 (all it's users need to be rebuild as well)
For QtWebengine:
- angelfish
- kaccounts-providers
- signon-ui
