rsnapshot.conf does not use the same # BACKUP LEVELS / INTERVALS # as documented in this wiki article anymore.
From this Rockylinux rsnapshot setup link, https://docs.rockylinux.org/guides/backup/rsnapshot_backup/, we find the new retain options:
This has been changed from earlier versions of rsnapshot from "hourly, daily, monthly, yearly" to "alpha, beta, gamma, delta" which is a bit confusing.
