Flatpak is a technology for building and distributing desktop applications on GNU/Linux.

There are currently 3 main runtimes available:

Freedesktop
- GNOME (based on the Freedesktop runtime)
- KDE (based on the Freedesktop runtime)

These are all hosted on Flathub.org.
