The desktop environment in Alpine has two main flavors: One supported officially by the Alpine desktop team and one by the community. Alpine Desktops: Official Desktop

There's two official supported desktops, XFCE Desktop Environment and LXDE Desktop, that last make also available the Openbox Window Manager.
