New page

Hello. My name is Grey, I am a beginner with Alpine Linux. I would like to know how I can get tor running on alpine linux so I can use it as a proxy for my browser and other internet applications such as a feed reader (I have a desktop PC with alpine 3.22 std and LXQT). With Debian, I just need to install tor, torsocks and tor-geoipdb, and when I reboot my PC, tor is active (I can check it with "sudo systemctl status tor"). I just need to change once my browser's proxy settings to socks5 / address 127.0.0.1 / port 9050, and my browser runs with tor. How can I do the same with alpine linux ? At the moment I use Carburetor. It works great but I need to run it manually every time I start my PC. I thank you very much for your kind reply. Grey
