== Vorbereitung ==
In diesem Absatz wird die SD-Karte eingerichtet.
# [http://alpinelinux.org/downloads/ Downloade] Alpine Linux für den Raspberry Pi. Das Tar-Archiv ist <code>alpine-rpi-<version>-armhf.rpi.tar.gz</code> benannt.
# Hänge die SD-Karte an Deinem PC ein.
# Benutze [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palimpsest_(Software) gnome-disks] um auf der SD-Karte eine FAT32 Partition anzulegen. Bei diesem Vorgang werden sämtliche Daten gelöscht!
# Die neu angelegte Partition muss als <code>bootfähig</code> markiert werden.
# Hänge die eben erstellte Partition ein.
# Entpacke das Tar-Archiv in die FAT32 partition.
# Wirf die SD-Karte aus.

Alpine Linux wird im [[Installation#Installation_Handbook|diskless mode]] installiert, deshalb ist [[Alpine local backup|Alpine Local Backup (lbu)]] zum Speichern zwischen Neustarten notwendig. Folge dafür diesen Schritten für die Installation von Alpine Linux:

# Insert the SD Card into the Raspberry Pi and turn it on
# Login into the Alpine system as root. Leave the password empty.
# Type <code>setup-alpine</code>
# Once the installation is complete, commit the changes by typing <code>lbu commit -d</code>

Type <code>reboot</code> to verify that the installation was indeed successful.
