Since their is much excitement about this distro - it might be nice to add RSS feeds to your Main Page, Recent changes, & Roadmap pages so progress can be tracked without visiting your web site....

Hello Anonymous A link to the RSS feed is available from the Special:RecentChanges page. Its in the upper right corner. That might get you started... Nangel 13:31, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

site not working as it should

hey there,

harry here, just a small bit of info: http://alpinelinux.org doesn't work, it redirects? to http://www.alpinelinux.org/mediawiki but that gives you a 404. think it's a good idea to fix that! ;)

you should also update the kernel patch of the vserver-grsec kernel, because of the latest root exploit in the vanilla kernel. (it isn't really exploitable when you have UDEREF enabled, but still corrupts kernel memory) also, there's a fix for some applications that triggers a bug_on in the kernel because of an error in the vanilla kernel that's patched here too. one last thing: i shouldn't enable all the chroot protections in the vserver default, because vserver uses chroot quite a lot, so you should be careful wit what you enable/disable e.g. chroot_caps, chroot_double, chroot_mount, chroot_findtask, chroot_chmod should be disabled to make things in vserver more... well... workable

just my 2 cents ;)

(look at http://people.linux-vserver.org/~harry/_README_ for more info on the what not to enable in the chroot restrictions grsec has built-in)

Broken Links

Several of the image links on the main page are broken, namely: Tutorials, Support, Contribute, Development, and Misc. The words link to the proper pages, but the images do not. -- Ttrask 18:14, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Fixed. Thanks. --Ncopa 02:56, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
