Setting Up Lighttpd With FastCGI

Basic Installation

For installing the additional packages first activate community packages and update the package index

Install the required packages:

# apk add lighttpd php-common php-session php-iconv php-json php-gd php-curl php-xml php-mysqli php-imap php-cgi fcgi php-pdo php-pdo_mysql php-soap php7-xmlrpc php-posix php7-mcrypt php-gettext php-ldap php-ctype php-dom php-simplexml

Configure Lighttpd

Edit lighttpd.conf (/etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf) and uncomment the line:

include "mod_fastcgi.conf"

Start lighttpd service and add it to default runlevel

# rc-service lighttpd start && rc-update add lighttpd default
